Dallas, TX: We held a full day of ethics events as part of the 2023 Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA) National Fall Leadership Conference on November 17. We kicked off the day with the High School Ethical Leadership Summit: Where Student Leaders Meet Business Leaders for students to engage with one another and interact with Dallas-area business leaders on the topic of ethics in business and the workplace.
The students worked in small groups on ethics-based activities, listened to business leaders share challenging ethical dilemmas, asked questions during a student Q&A, and became more familiar with the Daniels Fund ethical principles. This year we extended the ethics learning to middle school students in a second event in the afternoon, Understanding Ethical Leadership as a Middle School Student.
Sponsored by the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative High School Program, MBA Research welcomed nearly 100 students from across the country for both events. A special thanks to the business leaders who joined students in small group activities and participated in a panel discussion:
- Mitchell Parker, Associate Director of Investments, Net Lease Development
- Jennifer Davis, Chief People Officer, Rightsline
