New Business Course in Development

Navigate the global business landscape: Through a grant from the Reynold’s Foundation, MBA Research is developing a new business course for high school students. Based on a course being taught at the postsecondary level, including at the University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business, this course will examine the environment and context in which businesses operate.

Chart your course: The seven-unit series will introduce students to intellectual, economic, and moral considerations in the conduct of business and incorporate gaming as a method of instruction. This will be a semester-long course designed to be a part of an existing program of study or as a stand-alone course with the potential to cross grade levels. The course will be ready to pilot in the first semester of the 2025−26 school year.

Looking ahead: We are seeking pilot sites where selected teachers will receive grants for course implementation and training, which MBA Research will provide in spring 2025. Stay tuned for additional information!
