Kelli Diemer

Kelli Diemer has worked at the Iowa Department of Education as a Business and Marketing Education Consultant since 2008.  She serves as the liaison for the career and technical student organizations of DECA, FBLA, PBL and BPA.  Entrepreneurship education and work-based learning are also included in her work responsibilities.  She works with the Iowa Statewide Intermediary Network and Perkins Grant funding.

Kelli graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Education and has a Master’s Degree in Technology Education.  Previously she taught Business courses for 20 years at Cedar Falls High School and also taught technology courses at Hawkeye Community College.  She is active in the Iowa Business Education Association, the Iowa Association for Career and Technical Education and serves on the NASBE Board.

Iowa has rolled out a statewide Strengthening Program of Study grant for many of the cluster areas.  The resources available through MBA Research have been invaluable for the development of the Marketing Program of Study model.

Kelli is married and has four grown children and three grandchildren.
