Kevin Reisenauer

Since 2001, Kevin has supervised the ND Marketing Education program for the Department of Career and Technical Education and serves as state advisor for the ND DECA association.

He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelors degree in Marketing Education and a Masters in Career and Technical Education. He taught at Minot High School for 21 years and was certified in MBA’s Model Program in 1995.  He has been recognized by the ND ACTE as the Educator of the Year and received the Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise from the Freedom Foundation at Valley Force. The ND Chamber of Commerce recognized him as its Teacher of the Year.

A strong advocate for the integration of student organizations in the classroom and of the national Business Administration Curriculum Standards developed by MBA Research, he has been active with both organizations. His leadership responsibilities have included stints on the (National) DECA Board of Directors, including the Chairmanship, DECA’s Secondary Council, DECA Competitive Events Task Force, and as chair of the Central Region Board of Governors. He has served two terms on the MBA Research Board of Trustees, including two years as Chairman.

And, on those three or four days a year when he’s not tied up in meetings of one board or another, Kevin enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, and reading; he is an avid collector of Disney memorabilia.
