MBA Research offers a variety of support for your teacher preparation program.  We’re happy to arrange distance-based presentations by our PDTeam (local teachers), provide access to a special web site designed for students preparing to teach, and offer access to various tools designed to support high school business and marketing teachers.  Email your questions and suggestions to This email address is being protected from spambots. MBA Conclave Student Registration
Want your students to experience Conclave?  We offer a deep, deep discount for your those students planning to teach.  And, for a limited number, we’ll even help pay their way.  Full-time students, not in a teaching position, are eligible. Written verification of current full-time status from teacher educator is required.  Rate includes Basic Registration and The Celebration! ticket.  MBA Research will pay stipend of $199 in exchange for on-site support (full-time students only).  Maximum number of stipends available: 5.   Read more.

Stay Connected: Perspectives
Our Perspectives newsletter comes in various editions.  We recommend the “Teacher Prep” version that is targeted specifically to college faculty preparing future business/marketing teachers.  You may register for other versions of interest, but know that there will be significant duplication among them.  Don’t forget to have your students register for the appropriate version of interest to them.

Now available: MBA Curriculum Builder software
MBA Curriculum Builder is a web-based database that allows the user to build a program-of-study or individual course based on the national industry-validated Business Administration standards. Via various queries and other activities, educators can quickly build course models that reflect the latest research.  Users access standards, performance indicators, and specific learning objectives to define scope and then use drag-and-drop functionality to address sequence.  MBA Curriculum Builder is available to bona fide college students at no cost.  Requests must be made by the appropriate education faculty to This email address is being protected from spambots. Now available: State’s Connection
MBA State’s Connection is a depository of many different free materials used by teachers to supplement their other classroom tools.  The content of State’s Connection varies by state, but all include tools such as 1) comprehensive program-of-study kits, 2) sample course profiles, 3) vetted web links for classroom use, 4) glossary of key terms, 5) authentic assessment tools (rubrics with scenarios).  State’s Connection is available only to teacher preparation programs in our member states.  The appropriate education faculty can register here or provide individual student names, email, AND the college course in which they are presently enrolled and expected date of graduation, licensure, or certification to This email address is being protected from spambots. Now available: MBA Learning Center
The online MBA Learning Center is a library of in-depth lesson modules (LAPs) used by an increasing number of local business and marketing teachers.  The Center includes more than 250 modules, with more added each week.  A limited-access version is available to you and all students enrolled in your teacher preparation program.  For your own use, you may register under your own name and we’ll offer free access to 5 complete modules that you and your students may access any time.  You may share your password with your students so that they may explore the Learning Center from both the student and the teacher’s perspective.  For your free license, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and request the free MBA Learning Center subscription for your teacher preparation program.  NOTE:  Your request must be via a bona fide teacher preparation institution.  (Adjunct faculty will be supported, but the request must come via the college or university.)  Additional modules may be added to your license for $19 each.

Student Subscriptions:  Your current students are eligible for a free, limited access subscription of their own.  Each student may select any five modules for use in your courses and to assist with student teaching.  To qualify, students must meet the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a methods or curriculum course
  • OR be scheduled to begin student teaching within the next six weeks.

Student subscriptions must be requested by college faculty.  To obtain a free license for your students, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and include the following information for each student for whom you want a license:

  • Name AND student’s active email address
  • Relevant course in which your student is enrolled
  • OR date of scheduled student teaching experience

We will email your student directly with additional information re the registration process and with information on how to select the modules of his/her choice.  Additional modules may be added to their license for $19 each. 

NOTES:

  1. Subscriptions expire June 30 each year and must be renewed for the following school year. 
  2. The MBA Learning Center is closed July 1 – July 31 for updating and purging of data.
